What is the North American Pleasure Horse?
Founded in 2025, the North American Pleasure Horse Association is dedicated to promoting and celebrating the largest demographic of horses in the US; pleasure horses, or horses used for recreation. Our association provides a platform for pleasure horse enthusiasts to register and breed their stock and thus creating a whole new breed - the North American Pleasure Horse.

The North American Pleasure Horse is the first breed to be developed with disposition and health at the forefront of desired traits. Gone are the days of saying "oh, it's just a trail or lesson horse" because we all know it takes a confident parter to keep their rider safe.
Registration Benefits
Add value to your horses and your breeding program or gain credentials as a NAPHA Professional Horseman. By joining now, your horses and your lines may become the foundation for the North American Pleasure Horse.

There is a strong market for pleasure horses; it's about time we start developing them.
