Our Values

Horse Welfare First

We prioritize the health, happiness, and humane treatment of every horse throughout its life.
Rider-Centered Approach

From first-timers to seasoned trail riders, our breed is developed with your comfort and safety in mind.
Integrity & Transparency

We uphold the highest standards in breeding, training, and communication—with honesty and accountability at every step.
Sustainability for the Future

We’re dedicated to ethical breeding and to preserve the joy of riding for generations to come.

Our Goals

1. Breed Development & Recognition

We’re building a new kind of horse—calm, willing, and made for pleasure riding and ownership. Our breeding program focuses on consistency, health, and conformation, aiming for full breed recognition and industry respect. By 2035 we expect to close the studbook and register NAPHA horses exclusively.
2. Education & Outreach

We provide resources for riders, breeders, and trainers to learn about the breed, its care, and its capabilities. From clinics to partnerships, we’re spreading the word far and wide. In time we will fund and execute research regarding equine welfare, management, and genetics.
3. Building a Community

NAPHA isn’t just about horses—it’s about people, too. We’re creating a network of regional chapters, local events, and online forums where members can learn, share, and connect.
4. Upholding Ethics & Welfare

We believe every horse deserves a safe and happy life. Our program and promotes welfare guidelines ensure the highest ethical standards for all horses.
5. Marketing & Awareness

We’re telling the story of the North American Pleasure Horse—through real riders, real experiences, and real results. With strategic outreach, we’re bringing this breed into the spotlight it deserves.
